My Story
We are running the Clontarf 5 mile on November 18th to raise vital funds for two very special causes at the Rotunda Hospital.
Bereavement services: In 2021, we sadly lost two precious babies-Lily in March & Leo in October. Both times, the bereavement team guided us as we made incredibly tough decisions. They treated us and our babies with kindness and compassion and we will be forever grateful for their support at an incredibly difficult time.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: In 2022, we were overjoyed to welcome our beautiful baby girl Edith. She was born early and spent the first two weeks of life in the NICU at the Rotunda Hospital.
The expertise and dedication of the NICU doctors and nurses was invaluable.
They reassured us through difficult days and procedures and celebrated with us when we took Edith home!
The NICU team provide specialist care to the tiniest & most vulnerable babies and any funds raised will be used to help them do this.
